so, I think I'm about ready to start my new comic/story project thing. called Fantasy Heart.. it's based on an old idea I came up with in 7th grade about a fairy, Hoshi who stays with a normal earth boy, Kishi to make his life happier...and other fairies started living w/ him and stuff happened XP.. It was heavily based off of "Aa! Megami-sama!" (done by Kousuke Fujishima <3) in a very obvious way.

Even though I'm older now, and see that it was a sucky story. All the characters I made for it are kind of stuck inside me, and wanted to be written about again. So...I'm going to give them another chance, but this time with a better plot line. The basic story of Hoshi trying to help Kishi will remain. but it will actually have some backbone to it....and Hoshi will actually have some human-istic flaws to her. (before, she was just a rip off of Belldandy).

Backstory Stuff:
    In a universe, parallel to our own, is one inhabited by creatures that we only see in our fantasies. (thus. the fantasy realm). There are 3 main planets. Tel: a planet most suitable for plantlife. Fumya: a planet for animals (eg-Dragons, kappa, unicorns, etc) , and Jubi: the planet inhabited with human-like creatures. mostly dominated by fairies and witches. ((this is the planet mostly focused on))
    Recently, a witch, Majo, has been killing off all members of the Jubian royal family, and causing chaos on the other planets as well. Her highest goal is to exact revenge on the high king of Jubi, who sentenced her older sisters to death. But as his power exceeds hers, she needs to become stronger and take power from other places. So she retreats to Earth.
    On Earth, for every generation, a magic power is concentrated in the heart of a random human, in the form of a stone. The person born with the stone is not aware of it's presence, because it's power is only meant to be used in emergencies encase the Earth's safety is threatened. At age 19, the stone is at it's full power, but at age 20, the stone is completely useless. (and at 18, it's not at full power...like...maybe half strength) the stone can be removed from the body so that others may use it's power. however, the person who originally had it. will die.
    Kishi, a normal college boy is about to turn 19 in a few days, and is visited by a fairy, Hoshi, who says that he's in danger and that he needs to be protected from the evil that is coming to kill him.

....maybe you guys are smart enough to figure out the rest of the basic plot....cause i'm tired of typing XP

bleh. feels like forever since i updated this thing. but then again, it's not like i have tons of friends reading these things anyway.

uh. Enchanted comes to DVD in 9 days(the 18th baby!) i already pre-ordered it at the disney store, and they gave me these fun little poster things, for free! (wel...ok, 22$ for the price of the movie)

it's pretty cloudy outside, like it's gonna rain. but it isn't. it's teasing me! *shakes fist* darnit! rain already.
like i've said, it never thunderstorms here in San Antonio.

In houston, there'd be thunderstorms that shake up the whole house and scare the bejeezus out of you. i used to hate it.

but now i miss it. your never home if you cant feel security when your scared after all (if that makes sense)

that's aboutall to report this time.

I'm on a mission to try and revive the CL Slash community. it's been dead for like 2 months....which makes me sad. that was the whole reason i got this stupid live journal account in the 1st place!

Merry Christmas!

Ok. I TOTALLY wasn't expecting my family to buy Ai Otsuka's "Love Piece" album that I've been pining for since i heard of it's release. But I got it for christmas today! I love Ai Otsuka. She's pretty amazing. I was listening to it ALL DAY!!!!!!!! IT'S WONDERFULL!!!!!!!

*ahem* so. this is my little...review for it. (i have too much free time...)

Bit of History-Ai Otsuka's "Love Piece" album was released in late September and debuted at #1 on the Oricon charts. The theme with this album is that a heart has 6 different traits that it feels. Otsuka uses 6 of her songs on the CD to represent the different parts. the 6 traits are:
Blue=Dreams=Yumekui
Yellow=Friendship=Frienger
Green=Family=CHU-LIP
Pink=Love=Renai Shashin
Black=(im actually not sure. but it's something negative...)=Kumuriuta
Purple=Inner Thoughts=HEART

the CD has 11 songs total. 6 were previously released as singles in the past 1 1/2 years. so there's only 5 brand new songs. a bit of a dissapointment. but i still love it !!!!! <3

1-Mirai Taxi ((Future Taxi))-I like this song alot. It's catchy, upbeat, and it's a new song! It's about a girl who wants to keep going to seeing her lover even in the future. I like repeated lyric "I want to see you so I go see you" XP -4/5

2-Yumekui ((Dream Eater))-When it was previously released as a single, it was used as the theme for the drama movie "Tokyo Friends" AiO starred in a few years back. Probably in my top 10 all time fave AiO songs. I like the message. I dunno how to explain the theme though. It's basically saying that no matter how many times the character in the song starts a new dream or where he ends up by following those dreams, he wants the person he loves to be a part of it. -5/5

3-Mackrel's Canned Food- the chorus is catchy. Ai sings this from a boys point of view who's just enjoying his fun days on a beach...checkin out girls....surfing... A good summer song.....not her best. but it's still pretty fun. =3/5

4-PEACH- Another song for the summer. Fun and catchy. not much else to say. this song doesn't really stand out to me. just a basic Ai Otsuka song.-3/5

5-Kumuriuta ((Cloudy Song))-Ai's first ballad on the album. I love her ballads, they're so bittersweet. I forgot what this one's supposed to mean.....but it's pretty ^^;. a basic AiO ballad. I still haven't figured out if i like this song or not. I have mixed feelings. I remember really liking the lyrics and the music video and the piano is beautiful as always (Ai plays her own piano!!!) but when I just listen to it...it's kinda....forgettable....-2.5/5

6-Hoshi no Tango ((Tango of the Stars))-Odd lyrics for this one. I'm still trying to figure out what they mean. (especially the thing about eye contacts....) It's a cute song. I like the jazzy soft tango music in the background. -3/5

7- Katorisenkou ((Anti-Mosquito Burner/Mosquito Coil)) - Ok. i wasn't expecting a crazy AiO song. hoping for one. but wasn't expecting one because lately it seems like Ai's trying to break away from her crazy,rock, wierd metaphorical songs (that i secretly like so much) she was doing before (eg- PonPon and Mosou Chop) . But. I should know never to doubt Ai Otsuka. On the surface she's singing about killing a mosquito with a mosquito coil. but I think that symbollically she's singing about killing the pesky and bad things in her life by never giving up and using positive things. And hearing her shout "Kill the mosquito!" makes me giggle...Too bad it's a short song....-4/5

8-Frienger-frienger combines the english words 'friend' and 'ranger' to represent someone who always fights for the sakes of his or her friends. I've always loved this song since the moment i heard it. because I think friendship is one of the most important bonds and feelings a human can have. The song sounds like it was taken from a show like "Sailor Moon" or "Power Rangers", which...I also enjoy. The upbeat guitar and drums really help this song pop out, I think. -5/5

9-CHU-LIP- I love this song....alot. I remember putting this song on repeat for about a week after I first downloaded it. XD It's basically about the girl in the song saying that as she's getting older, she realizes that she's becoming more and more like her mother because she's fallen in love with someone that reminds her of her father and that every time she kisses the person she likes, she falls deeper in love with him. I also like the metaphor with a tulip. a tulip's kinda shaped like puckered lips, right? and the japanese sound effect for a kiss is "chu" right? so...Chulip! XP. The music video for this song is so bizarre too! It comes with it's own dance and everything XD i love it!!!! ~5/5

10-HEART-This is currently my favorite Ai Otsuka song. It's refreshing and jazzy and yet....still warm and humble. Her vocals are really good in this song too! You can tell she's not playing around here, this is her serious voice. and i love it. The music video helped me like this song too. It's a pretty smexy video (the camera keeps getting shots of her legs in high heels XD) -5/5

11-Renai Shashin-((Photo of Love )) I love this ballad so much . It's so warm. watching the music video chokes me up everytime. It tells the story of someone who, even though she and her ex-boyfriend have gone seperate ways, when she remembers the time the they spent together, she still feels love between them. The music is pretty too, mixing piano and violin <3-5/5

Magical Samson Issues

(i dunno. i just wanted to complain to someone. even if they have no idea what i'm talking about)

If you don't know (...which...you probably dont) i'm in the process of making a fan comic/spin off/ thing involving Samson (from Camp Lazlo) as a magical girl.

however. i am stuck. and i dont know how to get un-stuck. I'm still on the 1st chapter. which is the typical introductory chapter of "how-I-got-my-magical-powers" and is usually the most boring chapter of them all. now i'm kicking myself for doing it.

I should have just started it off as him with magical powers already. like in "Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne" or "Saint Tail" ....

I'm trying to get myself back into drawin it by drawing nothin but art from it. but it's funny. cause i cant draw romantical-pics for it.....bcause most of them involve Pingpong or Dave (mostly Ping...) ...but their necks are so long that it kinda ruins the mood. cause i cant stop laughing at the height difference....

AND i finally decided on a final design for Princess Patsy's dress. I always kept changing it. but i finally made one that i liked. yay!

today is the start of "Finals week" at my college.

Monday and Tuesday are used as study days, then on Wednesday is the actual testing days.

my last final is on Friday, then i get to enjoy over a month-long vacation. woot.

but first things first. gotta study. study. study. T_T especially my math. i'm on the verge of failing. i've gotta try my best today!!!!

I've been putting it off because it seemed cliche. but now that i'm reading it, i cant believe how wrong i was. the main couple is so cute! >< i usually hate the lead guys in magical girl shows, because they're either uber-boring and perfect or just dorks....(eg-Masaya and Mamoru...) but Chiaki is cool!
